Getting Started

Step 1: Schedule a screening call

To get started, we'll have an initial phone screening with our Admin staff to ensure our services are the right fit for your needs. This is a chance to discuss what you're looking for in therapy and ask any initial questions. Click here to schedule a call.

Step 2: Book a free consultation

Before your first official session, we'll have a free 20 minute consultation with a therapist to assess your therapy needs and determine if the therapist is the right fit. We’ll also go over scheduling, in-take process, fees, and any other details to ensure a smooth start.

Step 3: Schedule your first appointment

Once you're ready to move forward, your therapist will schedule your first therapy session to begin your journey toward healing and growth.

What to Expect in Therapy

Therapy is a collaborative process tailored to you. In your first couple of sessions, we’ll explore your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy. Over time, we’ll work together using therapeutic techniques to help you gain insight, work through trauma, develop coping strategies, and make meaningful changes. Therapy is a process which you will need to show up for each week to begin working with your therapist. It is vital to your progress to make a commitment to therapy weekly. As you work through your healing journey you and your therapist will determine your length of treatment.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in my first therapy session?

Your first session is an opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and ask any questions. Your therapist will guide the conversation, helping to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can begin exploring your concerns at your own pace.

How long does therapy take?

The length or timeline of therapy varies for each person. Some clients find short-term therapy helpful for addressing specific concerns, while others benefit from ongoing sessions for deeper exploration and growth. Your therapist will work with you to determine a plan that best fits your needs.

Each individual session is 50 minutes.

Is everything I share in therapy confidential?

Yes, therapy is a confidential space. Your therapist will not share what you discuss unless required by law, such as in cases of harm to yourself or others. Your privacy is a top priority, and we will review confidentiality guidelines during your first session. You may also review our Notice of Privacy Practices here
